The South African province of Mpumalanga is home to many world-renowned tourist attractions, including the famous Kruger National Park which is one of the top tourist destinations in the world and ensures a constant flow of international tourists to the province making property in Mpumalanga attractive to investors. The climatic contrasts between the drier Highveld region, with its cold winters, and the hot, humid Lowveld allows for a variety of agricultural activities. Crops include maize, wheat, sugar, citrus, vegetables, subtropical fruit, oil seeds, tobacco and cotton. Forestry, especially around Sabie in the far north of the province, is extensive.
