The Golden Mile
The Golden Mile skirts the main beaches of the Indian Ocean and
is flanked by luxury hotels and apartment blocks. Attractions include
an amusement centre, paddling pools, paved walkways, gardens and
fountains. Be sure to take the children to Funworld, with its bumper
cars, roundabouts and hurdy-gurdy machines. Take a ride in a cable
car for a birds-eye view of the beach front and the pools, fountains
and lawns of the Ampitheatre Gardens.
