Situated north of Johannesburg in South Africa, Kyalami is a popular suburb boasting many excellent features. The fanous South African Lipizzaners horses can be found in the small holdings of Kyalami. These magnificent Lipizzaner horses, truly boast strength, beauty, presence, Roman ancestry and military discipline. Every Sunday they perform a classical dressage show to classical music in which they skip, trot on the spot, side step, high step, and jump off the ground and kick with their back legs at the same time. This act in the past was meant to decapitate enemies in war situations. To see these gorgeous 6 horses going through the routine together is truly breathtaking and not to be missed.

Kyalami is also a world famous motor racing circuit located in the area. The circuit has been used for Grand Prix and Formula One races and has hosted the South African Grand Prix many times. The circuit has also played host to five rounds of the World Superbike series and World Superbikes are set to return to Kyalami in May 2009.

In recent years, the area surrounding the Kyalami circuit has developed into a beautiful residential and commercial suburb of Johannesburg.
