Glenvista in the Johannesburg Region of Gauteng, South Africa
Glenvista is situated in the Southern region of the Gauteng province in South Africa. It has many hills and valleys resembling and there are meerkats and guinea fowl that still run wild in Glenvista. It is surrounded by natural thorn bushes and veld. The houses and property in Glenvista can be large and the neighbourhood is comparitively safe. It is situated close to the shopping centre, The Glen and has a 72 par golf course in the dip of a valley. Some views are spectacular on the tops of the valleys of Glenvista.

The Glenvista golf course boasts 18 superb bent grass greens built to United States Golf Association standards. Five dams, four of which come into play on this course, and a perennial stream ensure that there is an abundance of water hazards on the course. About 400 indigenous trees have been planted recently.

Among the varied birdlife, if the Goliath heron to which the course is home. Glenvista Country Club is set in a tranquil and very attractive part of suburban Johannesburg. It is a real delight to play, as it has a number of interesting holes. It is easy to pass a verdict stating that this is a club which is truly worth visiting.
